CREATING A CULTURE OF
BELONGING
Harper is committed to creating a culture of belonging for our employees, our We Care culture, and our industry as a whole.
Harper is proud to partner with the following organizations that support a culture of belonging:

OUR VISION.
To live and work in an environment where we all feel safe, respected, and valued.
OUR MISSION.
To maximize the potential of our employees by recruiting, developing, and retaining a workforce that is innovative, collaborative, and ensures everyone is empowered to succeed.
SUPPLIER PARTNERSHIPS.
It takes an experienced and unified team to deliver innovative building solutions—that includes working with the best subcontractors, suppliers, and trades personnel in the industry. We believe that bringing together a wide range of perspectives and skill sets leads to stronger collaboration, sharper problem-solving, and better project outcomes. That’s why we’re committed to building trusted partnerships with local Small Business Enterprises (SBE), Woman-owned Business Enterprises (WBE), Veteran-owned Business Enterprises (VBE), and Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), creating a culture of belonging and shared success across every project.

Harper’s forum, EMBRACE, was created to continue to evolve our commitment to a culture of belonging. The mission of this forum is to maximize the potential of our employees by creating great opportunities through an inclusive workforce.

Women in Construction and Service (WICS)
is committed to supporting the growth and development of women across our organization, encouraging leadership opportunities, and helping pave the way for future generations in our industry. In support of this commitment, a group of dedicated Harper employees established our Women in Construction & Service (WICS) Employee Resource Group, with a vision to foster a strong community that champions women within our company and the broader construction and service sectors.

NAWIC
Harper is actively involved with the local National Women in Construction (NAWIC) chapters and programs.

ACE Mentor Program
To help develop the next generation of industry leaders, Harper is actively involved with the ACE Mentor Program of America, Inc. (ACE). This program mentors high school students and inspires them to explore careers in design and construction. As the construction industry’s fastest-growing high school mentoring program, ACE reaches over 8,000 students each year—building a strong foundation for those looking to find their place in the industry.

Leadership Development
A key aspect of building a strong workplace culture is ensuring all employees feel empowered to contribute their skills, perspectives, and experience. The actions of our leadership set the tone for an environment where everyone can grow and perform at their highest potential. At Harper, we’re developing training courses that support this culture, bringing subject matter experts to engage with our teams and weaving these principles into our broader employee development programs.
