THE CHALLENGE.
The new $175 million teaching hospital is a partnership between HCA Healthcare’s North Florida Division and UCF Academic Health. The Orlando Medical City project consists of a 205,000 sqft 3-story medical center with 64-inpatient beds and is designed to expand as the community needs demands. The facility will house a 20-bed emergency department, four operating rooms, a cardiac catheterization lab, six delivery suites, and comprehensive imaging and laboratory services.
