THE CHALLENGE.
Our scope on this project was to add a redundant chiller to the existing mechanical system that included converting their primary/secondary pumping arrangement to a variable primary system.
- The project was over budget initially at bid time, but the owner needed this chiller for internal compliance.
THE SOLUTION.
To help our client move forward with the project, we worked with the design team to develop a less expensive way to convert their new pumping arrangement while also minimizing the shutdown time of their chilled water system.
